Founded by Ryan and Jenna Wheatley in 2023, Reclaimed By Nature was created with a simple but powerful vision: to transform and reclaim materials whenever possible into beautiful, functional pieces that bring character and purpose to every space.
Our Story
At the heart of everything we do is the goal of sustainability! By using reclaimed wood and repurposed elements for our custom projects, we not only reduce waste but also preserve the natural beauty and history within each piece. Every project tells a story, from weathered wood finding a new life in a garden box , to custom builds that reflect the unique vision of our customers.
Jenna brings a diverse and well-rounded background rooted in Fish and Wildlife, Aquaculture, and extensive hands-on experience in the field of Horticulture. Alongside her formal education, she has developed gardening knowledge through many years of personal practice, as well as careful sampling and documentation of plant growth and environmental conditions.
She is known for her creative problem-solving, thoughtful design approach, and strong attention to detail. Jenna combines ecological understanding with practical experience, allowing her to create and support healthy, resilient, and well-balanced landscapes. Her work reflects both scientific insight and a genuine passion for working with nature.
Ryan is a skilled, hands-on builder with many years of experience in carpentry and glazing. He specialises in custom woodwork, window and door installation, and precision glasswork, bringing a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project.
With an academic background in Ecosystem Management, Carpentry Techniques, and Environmental Science, Ryan approaches his work with a deep respect for sustainability, traditional knowledge, and the natural environment. His work reflects a thoughtful balance of durability, functionality, and artistic expression.
